install : blue screen but x started

hello,
I download the last kubuntu desktop Iso i386 for a portable toshiba
the md5 is good too engraving
I launch installation, it detect great and the wifi too
it launches X and
there I remain planted on a blue screen,
nothing does not do (I have the cursor of the mouse)
I suppose that the installor would owe appeared at this time there?!
normally ubuntu functions on this portable
could somebody help me?

Are you trying to use the live CD? If you are, the first option I would try would be the alternate install CD, which is slightly more stable, as it doesn't require X to install.
