Grub installed onto wrong drive [SOLVED]

I have 3 hard drives, 2 PATA on one controller together, then 1 SATA on its own controller, which is my main drive.  I installed kubuntu to a partition on my SATA drive, but the installer put grub on my first PATA drive, so when I rebooted after installation it went straight back into windows.  I went into my BIOS setup and set it so that my first PATA drive was before my SATA drive in the boot order, and grub started to load but failed (I think it was with error 22).  Has anyone encountered this and/or know what I can do to get grub installed properly on my main SATA drive?

EDIT: I got this fixed, through a combination of reading other posts and fooling around with grub. Should've done my research before posting :P
