Grub Error 17

I receive Error 17 from grub which indicates that it cant find the partition containing /boot (if i'm right).
My BIOS boot order:
HDA
SDA
SDB
SDC

Linux is on SDB(0) (the root partition).
The system thus boot HDA's mbr which starts grub which then reads from SDB.

What do you guys need?

Oh,and before I forget:
The partitions:
HDA (FAT32)
SDA (lvm)
SDB (ext3)
SDC (lvm)

Hi,

Can you tell us from when you have this error ? Is it after a system upgrade ? Some modification you've made ?
I got it this afternoon because I removed two ntfs partition and grub lost its mind (because of me ok) But if it's not the same trouble I'm not sure if I will be able to help...
