    Where to invoke hdparm

I like to enable 32-bit support for my drive and cd-rom (hda, hdc). I used to do this in /etc/init.d/boot.local but there's no such beast in Kubuntu. How should I do this?

    Re: Where to invoke hdparm

Hmm - there is /etc/hdparm.conf configuration file. Are you looking this ?

    Hmm #2 - Is IO_support = 1 (32-bit) default ?
Here it is on at the hda, hdb and hdc. Only sda tells that: IO_support = 0 (default 16-bit)
