I installed Kubuntu Dapper a week ago but there arised a booting problem after that. When I shut down my PC from kubuntu, the machine does not shut down, I mean I see that "will halt" is written on the screen but then the screen becomes black and waits.
There is Windows in another partition of the computer but there were not such a problem with Windows.
I have AMD64 bit processor, 40 gb hard disk, 512 mb RAM.
Do you have any idea about this problem? What shall I do to make my computer booy normally from kubuntu?
