Huh hi, I'm new to kubuntu and dont know zip! Each time i try to install kubuntu i get to step 5 and my pc hangs. my screen reads
Select a disk You can have the installer................you can partition the disks manually.
and thats it! nothing esle underneath and the timer thinhgy just wizzez around. I' ve tried it from scratch 5 times and it gets stuck at the same place each time.
i am trying to use kubuntu version 6.06 lts for 64bit pc
my pc is amd 64 athlon 3500. 1gbram 400hz 200gb sata2 3.0gbs 8 mb buffer
it is brand new out of box and has no OS
i also have tried a ubuntu 6.06 lts for pc disk and it hangs in exactly the same place.
hope someone has the time and patience to help newbie like me
