How to install Kubuntu from the liveCD without starting kubuntu itself?

Hello,

I am totaly new to Linux, and I want to test it on an old PC of mine. The only problem is that that old pc's memory (128 MB RAM) and CD-ROM (4x) are to slow to run it from CD. It runs, but it blocks all the time, and if I click the install Icon on the desktop the CD-player starts reading the disk for several hours. Is there a command line, (in startup menu, "option") that I can enter, where I don't need to start the Live CD, but install it on the hard-disk.

Download the Alternate CD instead of the Desktop CD from kubuntu.org... it has a text based installer...
