    ISO Too Big?

When I download kubuntu-6.06-alternate-i386.iso or kubuntu-6.06-i386.iso both are less than 700mb then when I want ot mount the ISO it is 733,333 kb or somehting like that, too big. What is wrong? I have downloaded several different images and ISO burning programs but still no luck. Can anyone help?

Did you check the md5sum of the ISOs you download, to verify that it wasn't corrupted during the download?

Or maybe mounting an ISO isn't the same as burning the image?

I'm not really sure as I haven't tried mounting the ISO...

In some burning apps you have to enable overburn by hand. Maybe this needs to be done with your app?

After sampling some different apps "Nero Burning ROM" finally came through and turned the kubuntu iso into a bootable disc. The live cd was able to configure all of my hardware and even the ipw2200 wireless on my Inspiron 6000. Now for the install!!!
