Hi,
i'm new to Kubuntu/Ubuntu, but not totally new to linux. I've been playing around for about 9 months, so i'm not a total n00b, but i can't get the installer for Kubuntu to let me only mount a "/" partition and a swap. it says that's all you need to mount and that's all i WANT to mount....never mind that i have two hdd's, one with two partitions and the other with 6. i have multi distros on the computer and don't want them all mounted! any end-arounds for this? first time i've had a distro try to make my mount ALL of the partitions
I'm using the live DVD and the specific mesaage i get is "No Mount Point Selected for Partition X DISC /ETC/ETC/ETC (Primary/Secondary) [sdbxx]"
of course i subbed in genreic values, but if i mount the partition it complains about, it complains about the next one until they are all checked. i gues i could just mount them all and then change the fstab manually later, but that's a pain in the ass. Any suggestions
