    Duel boot?

Hey, I'm 13 and just getting started with linux, I was interested in the Kubuntu package as I'm interested in what it offers :P

I still wanted my windows XP MCE 2005 To play games, and access the internet on (Until I set up network card with Kubuntu) I have Partition Magic, and (If needed) I am/will buy a floppy disc drive due to my current comp not having one.

I was just wondering how to do a Duel boot, so I can Say, start up my comp, Go to Kubuntu, hit enter and that will load up, or hit enter on Windows, and that load up.

    My Specs, if needed are:

    2.80 Ghz
    512MB of RAM
and 128GB left on Drive C ( I was going to leave like 50 for Linux) so I will have 88GB left on Drive C

I was just wondering If I could have a SIMPLE step, by step guide that I can print off to allow me to do this, as I really want to get into using Linux

    Thanks, in anticipation, kris

    Re: Duel boot?

The only difference between this and Kubuntu is that this is brown and the Kubuntu installer is blue.

    I'd advise:

    1. Defragmenting Windows first
    2. Backing up all your important data
    3. Playing around with the live CD for a week or two before installing Kubuntu

    Otherwise... have fun!
