How to change the default session type in KDM

Hi,

I recently installed gnome on Kubuntu Dapper Drake. Everything works fine, except the fact that session type defaults to gnome at login, instead of kde. I would like to keep both options at login time (either gnome or kde), but I would like kde to be the default session type. How should I achieve this ? Thanks

Usually, if you use kdm, it should remember this setting, if not, something is not well installed.

Ok, but if something is wrong with the installation, could anyone tell me what I should check first ? I have no idea what I should start with. Apologies, I am still a newbie.
