The Live DVD will boot, and the GUI will show, but when I try to Load/Install Kubuntu from it, it will start to load and then lock up. I've tried Safe Mode, Text Install, and Check for errors and all of them lock up. I downloaded a CD distro of Kubuntu, burnt it, booted it, and the same thing happened; just locked up during loading. I got currious, so I tried loading a Knoppix Live CD that I've had for a while (and I know works) and that will boot, but won't load. I put the Live DVD in a friend's computer and it loaded flawlessly. I'm totally stuck >_<. To clarify, I'm trying to use the AMD 64 version.
Here's my system specs:

I use on-board NIC and Sound
