    Ok, Im a little confused about the whole upgrade from 5.10 thing. In the official guide it says:

    Users of Kubuntu 5.10 can upgrade to 6.06 LTS over the internet by following these instructions:

    * In Adept go to Manage Repositories and change "breezy" to "dapper"
    * Click "Fetch Updates"
    * Click "Full Upgrade"
    * Click "Commit"
    * After all packages have installed reboot the computer

    If you have a Kubuntu 6.06 CD put it in the drive and run apt-cdrom from the command line then follow the instructions above.

    The part that confuses me is the last part, do you have to have the cd in order to upgrade, or do you just need it as a future repository source??

    Thanks in advance :-D

    You don't need the Kubuntu 6.06 (Dapper) CD to upgrade from Breezy to Dapper if you have a good internet connection.

    Hope that clears it up a little.
