    Once again, msttcorefonts is lost

Ever since I started using Kubuntu (with version 5.04) it seems like getting an "apt-get install msttcorefonts" to work requires some form of circus trick. I've uncommented every repository in my sources.list and I still get an error trying to install them...So, if it's not in the backports, where did the package move to this time?

    It's in multiverse.

Are you sure you've got all the right repositories, and have "fetched updates"? What error do you get when trying to install?

actually, I think you have to add the multiverse yourself in Dapper. I think I had to. anyways, just locate:
      Code:
      deb [url]http://ca.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/[/url] dapper universe
      deb-src [url]http://ca.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/[/url] dapper universe
      and append:
      Code:
      deb [url]http://ca.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/[/url] dapper universe multiverse
      deb-src [url]http://ca.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/[/url] dapper universe multiverse
You might have to do it with the dapper-backports repo as well:
      Code:
deb [url]http://ca.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/[/url] dapper-backports main restricted universe multiverse
      deb-src [url]http://ca.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/[/url] dapper-backports main restricted universe multiverse
