Ok I tried installing Breezy on my amd turion notebook but it didn't go so well. So are there any changes in Dapper that would make the install go smoothly on my laptop.

I now have Dapper on my desktop and it runs perfectly.

Only thanks to the clear header of your post (Changes) and the at least as clear discription of problems you had with the install of Breezy I can give you the answer you're looking for:
Try it.
Start with the live DVD if you're not convinced by my deduction.
From personal experience I can say Breezy had some problems, Dapper some others.
And thanks to this great forum I'm now having a nice install. 8)
