Not a question or a problem, just a gripe.
I've installed Dapper LTS twice now, and I'm blown away by how simple the process is. For the most part, I love it.
However, I wish that there were a way to change the network parameters during the install process. It assumes that your computer takes its IP address from a DHCP server, but if that DHCP server fails to deliver an IP address, there is no sign of any problem during the install, and you don't find out that there was a problem until you launch Adept and find that all of the repositories have been disabled because they did not respond during the install. In my own home network, I do not use DHCP, and set each computer with a static IP address; I'd like the opportunity to set this up during the install process.
Other than that, I love the improved install process, and I love Dapper so far.
