    Adept full upgrade wants to remove all KDE apps

    Could someone tell me why trying to upgrade from breezy to dapper wants to remove all my kde apps?

    Does manually running "apt-get install kubuntu-desktop" bring those all back?

    Hi,

    it's seems to be the case for a lot of people... you've found the answer, installing kubuntu-desktop will get back kde... Maybe not every thing what you've installed but it should be enough to run it

      Hi jabster, just a thought,

      The line in your sources.list starting with "deb cd-rom" and containing references to Breezy may not be helping you at all.
