Dapper 6.06 install at mirrors hangs

Dear Readers,
Have installed a Kubuntu desktop 6.02 from scratch.
Internet connection is not !!!!! running.
At the step when "searching mirrors" it stops. Have I to wait as with former
versions how long or can I install only on a running network connection

Hi,

As I didn't install from scratch I don't really know, but I guess you should be able to jump this section... Maybe in expert mode, no ?

I used the "alternate" version.
Installed "server" which brings an ordinary ubuntu commandline.
with apt-ger install kubuntu-desktop I installed the rest.
Now it runs a kubuntu smoothly.
