Just finished installing Kubuntu Dapper Dan 6.08 after spending about 8 hours on the CD iso download on a 512k ADSL connection.
Installed easily - less than 30 mins.
Only problem was having to work out that I needed to make an existing partition active before install proceeded at partition setup.
Only other problem was as I had a 200gb hard disk ( data storage) attached, on first boot Kubuntu checked the drive, which took a loooong time, before proceeding with boot.
Now just have to install extras and updates when repositories are less busy.
