6.06 makes Kubuntu number one on my list

I just installed 6.06 after not being able to install or use Breezy at all and I must say, I'm totally impressed.

The interface is completely clean, very no nonsense, Adept does what it needs to do quite well (though I wish it was organized by category ala Synaptic and such), and the system is fast and stable.

And here I was about to give up on Kubuntu completely and just stick with PCLinuxOS!

    Install Synaptic!
    Code:
    sudo apt-get install synaptic

I just searched for Synaptic via Adept and installed it and its categorized now.

I also got brave and added the "universe" sets.

I'm impressed with Kubuntu. Other than my rather annoyed attitude towards Breezy... it sucks when you spend 2 hours downloading an ISO just to find out that it doesn't work on your system at all.

If you want to listen to MP3's and such you need to enable "multiverse" as well as "universe". The only difference between the two is that multiverse contains packages that are restricted in some countries.
