keyboard & scsi cd-rom

i just tried to install flight 7 on a scsi-only system. i had to manually load the aic7xxx, cdrom, sr_mod to make the installation proceed. this works in debian 3.1r2.
although the installation asks me for the keyboard layout, it does not set it. so i have to install using a qwerty kbd. the same goes for the X configuration: edit the xorg.conf or use the control panel.

replying to myself :-(

i found out that the scsi problem comes from unknown symbols in the aic7xxx driver. when i loaded the aic7xxx_old everything went ok.
