Problem: AMD64 + Flight 7

Hi there.

I downloaded the Flight 7 AMD64 LiveCD version and got a problem.

The CD loads fine, goes through loading setting up all drivers/modules, etc,
but when it comes time to boot into KDE it just stalls with the empty progress bar (the one which shows while booting).

I had the same problem with Flight 6 and the something close to this with Ubuntu Dapper.

But then if I run the same on my SUSE via VmWare, then all goes fine!

What can be the problem?

Hi,

Are you able to get into console mode or not ? I've tried a livecd a while ago and it was working on my 64 X2 with nvidia 7800GTX...
Maybe it's trouble with graphics drivers...
If you can tell me what you've downloaded, I will give it a try.
