    Screen corruption after laptop install

Just tried to install Kubuntu DD5 on a Toshiba L20 laptop. It does not get on with the Realtek screen driver though. I had a similar problem with SuSE 10 on the same laptop but sorted it with SuSE's SaX2 tool (its colour resolution needed to be dropped to 16 bit).

What CLI tool can I use to do the same to Kubuntu, please?

    From the command line:
    Code:
    dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
