ATI Graphics - Stupid.

Hi, basically.. i have heard alot about ATI Graphic cards having trouble with Kubuntu... i had lots of trouble trying to install Gutsy, but now i am trying the alternate install for 6.06

basically, i have a ATI Radeon express200m and was wondering if i can install kubuntu, is there anything i need to do to make kubuntu work?
