weird problem.. need help ! Installed Kubuntu over Ubuntu..

i installed Kubuntu - desktop over Ubuntu with these instructions..

and after i liked KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK much better then G i removed ubuntu desktop.

All worked fine once.. at the same firefox was uninstalle and i wanted it back.. wrote on konsole

"sudo aptitude update && sudo aptitude install firefox" and EVERYTHING IN K was uninstalled , but firefox was installed ?

It said that its removing unused programs and next time i was booted to a textversion of login...

What di i ........... n00000000000b ....... did wrong ?

Hi,

Did you install kubuntu-desktop ?
I think you should login and then, sudo aptitude install kubuntu-desktop
Then you should install firefox, usually it's not making any difficulties...

yes.. started from Ubuntu 6.06 -> Kubuntu -desktop -> removed Ubuntu -desktop ...

now its working and i still have dualhead, webcam and so on working ...

on konsole "sudo aptitude update" = ok

and also upgrade now ok ??

was this somekind of a onetime bug ?

Happened again.. Kontact wont work and this is output from aptitude :
