cd/dvd rom mechanic don't work

Hi,
my problem is in optical mechanic.
I put cd/dvd into my mechanic and after a few seconds (maybe 5) the system get frozen. and I must reset the computer.When I launch K3b application, the computer get frozen too.

I have read the syslog file, but there is only "cdrom: open failed"
mechanic is right detected: LG gsa h10-n.
