Hi team and a happy new year,
i have tried all the how to's, forum suggestions, the ALSA web page and loads of other stuff to make MIDI play back on my sound card.
i have a card based on the yamaha ymf 744 and there is an ALSA module for this chip.
if i fire up KInfoCenter and click on the sound icon i see the following.
Synth devices: NOT ENABLED IN CONFIG
Midi devices: NOT ENABLED IN CONFIG
where does this particular 'config' live and what might i type into it.
i have been at this problem on and off for a month and have yet to find an answer.
any ideas?
