Which network card for Netgear 834dg?

I have a Netgear 834dg wireless ADSL modem/router and would like to get a wireless network card for my PC.

Having struggled to get kUbuntu up and running, I'm weary of buying just any wireless card and trying to configure it. There's a shop that sells wireless network cards for the modem in question, but I haven't seen any linux related topics regarding the use of wireless cards with that modem.

But then again, I could just be mistaken so anything would work. BTW, the modem in question doubles up as a 4 port hub, so I was able to surf the net happily with Linux whilst my PC was plugged in with a network cable.

    Any tips/hints/how tos?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

In fact, you can use any wifi card compatible with linux. You can check this page to see :

      Hey Sky,

As always, thanks for your help. Things are really going forward with my kUbuntu set up.

I see the card corresponding to my router on the list you sent me.

I'll buy it and give it a try.

      Thanks again!
