Updated HAL packages via Adept and now device mounts to /dev/sda1, popup appears asking if I want to view in new window, but when Ok is selected, nothing futher happens.
When I check in /media, there is no reference to the USB storage device present.
Had to create a new dir and mount sda1 just to get access to the device.
