Out of all the amazing people out there - could one super-type actually REALLY REALLY solve this problem. For hundreds of us asking over and over again on various forums for months and months? Please?
On all the different forums and lists this:
foomatic-rip failed
this:
setting up printer and printing test page - stopped (even though the access log shows 'successful')
this: Local Authentification certificate not found (error log)
There are hundreds of people out there who cannot print - is it CUPS? Why when you Add a printer in KDE does CUPS (localhost:631) still ask if you want to Add it?
Please can one of the guys who perhaps wrote the Printer Manager bit of Kubuntu please help us all??
