Hi I have a Samsung Napster YH-920GS mp3 player and want to upload songs to it and be able to listen to them.
1) It will recognise it in linux as a 20gig hd USB
2) Upload files fine
3) WONT PLAY THEM on the device as the file list's not been updated
The only way I can get the songs to upload and update is to use M$ Media Player 9 in Windros
Some how Media player updates the song list on the device. I was wondering if there is anyway that this could be used just using linux, as I have to reboot to windows, even VMware wont work with the mp3 player
If there is a python script that will get the files updated that would be great. There has to be some way of doing it but it has me stumped for now.
Thanks
Martin
