I've got a network printer (Samsung 1651N) that all the computers on my network have access to. I'm having trouble with Kubuntu's printer setup app. (I'm running 6.10). I go to -> system settings -> Printers -> Add (Printer). I select Network Printer, and have the app
scan my network. The app successfully finds the IP of my printer and detects the port (9100); I click 'Next', and select the appropriate model, then go ahead with the 'Foomatic+PostScript' drivers...but when I click 'Next', I get an alert window saying:
"Unable to load the requested driver:
Unable to create the Foomatic driver [Samsung-ML-1651N,Postscript]. Either that driver does not exist, or you don't have the required permissions to perform that operation." >
What do I do?
