Kubuntu modem support

Greetings,
I have a Dell inspiron with kubuntu installed on it. The inspiron has a modem in it, and I need to use it to access/configure our phone system.

Can't seem to work out how to configure the modem in Kubuntu. Can anyone give me instructions/pointers ?
