I can seem to successfully suspend / hibernate the laptop both manually and by closing the lid, but my Sony VGN-S505P/B laptop never wakes up. It has an nvidia graphics card.
I suspect a graphics driver problem because when I power off and reboot after a failed attempt to restore from hibernate / suspend, the "kubuntu" graphic during system startup has messed up colors.
Any suggestions?
