    Kubuntu bug 64085

    Hi everyone,
as I understood, this has been reported as bug report Nr.: 64085.
I've instealled Ubuntu 6.06 and it recognizes my wlan0 card.
I put IP address, gateway etc. and it works.
After updating kernel and booting my system with new one, I do not have internet connection.
I boot with old kernel and it works.
I hope they will solve this problem in next versions.

    My question is:
I installed Kubuntu 6.06.1 which has only new version of kernel.
I couldn't go to internet and can not use "old" kernel because this one is only on system.
    What should I do?
    Regards,

In addition to the upgrade from the 386 kernel which is installed by default (unless you have an AMD64 box in which case you get a kernel that works for both AMD and Intel processors), to the specific kernel for your processor. There have been two kernel upgrades since the publication of the 6.06.1 iso's. Try upgrading to the latest kernel specifically compiled for your architecture. Your problems may go away.

No, I've tried but it works only with 2.6.15-23-i386 ( not with 26-i386 or 27-i386).

You should probably still try the 686 or K7 kernel, if your processor is less than ten years old. It may help, and it probably won't hurt.
