nVidia-glx and a new card

Hey gang

I'm upgrading from an older nVida MX 420 to a geforce 5900. What will I have to do on the driver end to make the switch?
I'm not sure, but doesn't the nvidia-glx driver work for all the geforce cards? If so, then I'm assuming a change in some settings needs to be done instead of installing new drivers...

It should just work, unless you are running some form of legacy driver.
