    pendrive and IrDA problems

    Hello!
At first, congratulations to the whole team of kubuntu\ubuntu
I choosed kubuntu over ubuntu, because it allready have one great support for USB bluetooth dongle, while on ubuntu i have to install firstly the packages.

Now, lets speak about my problem, i plug my pendisk drive on kubuntu, and it recognize and mount.
i am able to see the files, but i can't delete, move, create new files on the pendrive. it is formatted as fat16.
this problem appear on both kubuntu and ubuntu.

I am using the live CD, release 6.06LTS, and haven't yet installing this on HDD

my second problem is that i have one USB IrDA device, and simply don't know how to send files by irda, and receive them.
This last problem is a true newbie problem in linux, because i am using windows 2000 on my desktop :P

best regards to the whole team

i loaded the live cd beta of edjy and the pendisk problem is solved, now i can use it normally, and even recognized my lexmark p707 printer card reader, thing the release 6.06 don't do.
