4 TV Cards, none works out of box

Hi,

I tryed 4 TV Cards, yes, 4 new tv cards, and none works out of box in Kubuntu.

I tryed;
Hauppauge PVR-150MCE
PixelView PlayTVProUltra
PixelView PlayTVPro 2
AverMEdia AverTV GO 007 FM Pro

None works with a fresh install, I'm one step going back to RPM based distros(RH, Suse, MDK), but I like so much the way Kubuntu works with the software packages that I wan't to give it a try.

Can anyone tell me any TV Card, that is now on sale on the amrket, that works out of the box? Or a way for me to get around this problem?

Without being able to tell you to read /usr/src/linux/Documentation/video4linux/bttv/*, this is a fairly good list of v4l supported cards, though some insmod options and sorcery may be required to get 'unsupported' cards working, it's fairly painless. I have two 'unsupported' cards running fine on my mythtv box.
