Zoom PCMCIA Hardware Modem Issue

I have a Zoom 3075 hardware modem that is not being recognized by Dapper Drake.  Suse9.3 and Knoppix 5.0 found it, but no P?
CMCIA devices show up in Kinfo Center under Dapper.  Adept shows pcmcia software is installed.  Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

I am using an Acer Aspire 1522LMi, AMD64, laptop.

Booting up Knoppix 5.0, I show PCMCIA Card 0 - Serial or Modem. But, it should be noted that this is the 32bit version. I'm wondering if maybe I should try the 32bit version of Kubuntu?
