Will Kubuntu work with 64 Dual Core and PCIe???

I have ordered a AMD Athlon 64bit Socket Am2 3800+ X2 Dual Core CPU and Mainboard.

And a PCIe Graphics Card.

I am already using Kubuntu 64bit, on my Sempron64 3300+ based System.

My question is this.

Will Kubuntu have any Problems running my NEW Rig?

Are there any Extra files needed to be downloaded to run them?

If so what are they?

Any Help I'd be most Grateful.... Thanks in advance......

Hi,

I'm running almost same config without any troubles...
It's a X2 4200 s939 with PCIe, I've just read that from time to time motherboard are not really well recognized...

I just tried kubuntu x64 6.06 on my new box: amd64 am2 x2 4200+ with pcie card and doesnt worked at all. Dont have a clue disk doesnt have scratches or stuff.
