Hi guys,
I just bought a new 20" LCD (Acer AL2017). My graphics is onboard Intel 915. My initial problem was that my video BIOS was not allowing me to select 1400x1050 (native res of LCD) within KDE. After a few hours and lots of frustration, I managed to get something called "915resolution" up and running. Now, I am able to select 1400x1050 in KDE.....
The problem now is that the picture (although it looks very good) is not stretched right to the ends of the screen. If I press the "Auto" button on my LCD, its like it doesn't know there is "still more to the screen".....and doesn't stretch the picture right to the ends! I am unable to resize the screen manually - only automatically :-(
Does anybody know how to resolve this issue?
