I must be missing something, not sure what I am missing.
Got a simple webcam, the system information USB scan shows it is an Omni Vision chip in it so I looked up and and it seems to be one of the ones listed as usable with ovcamchip.
Followed the instructions on the site, but no luck getting it working.
The problem seems to be that the webcam is USB and the ovcamchip is listed in i2c_core in lsmod.
When I run v4l-info, it can't find /dev/video0
I am thinking I have to find a way to route the data from the /dev/bus/usb/003 to /dev/video0 so that v4l-info can find the data?
Am I on the right track or am I missing something completely?
Any help is appreciated.
