Upgraded to Dapper now there is no sound

lspci shows this:

0000:00:11.5 Multimedia audio controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT8233/A/8235/8237 AC97 Audio Controller (rev 60)

This sound card is normally identified during the install, and I don't have to do anything. When I go to Kinfocenter to check out the sound card it tells me "Disabled in config". To be honest, I have never had to do anything to get sound to work, so I have no idea. Does anyone know how to re-run the part of installation that detects the sound card and installs the proper driver?

Well, I figured it out myself. I just needed to do the following:

#modprobe snd-via82xx

then I added "snd-via82xx" to /etc/modules
