I just go lm_sensors and fancontrol running and have finally silenced the roar of my fan! :-X What I want to do is set up pwmconfig to mimic how things run in Windows.
Is there some sort of config file in windows that would have the temperature and pwn setpoints that control my fans?
I installed speedfan and am collecting trend data on RPMs and temperatures so I will at least know if Linux is behaving like Windows but I would really love to use the "proper" settings.
