Hello there,
I've got a little problem with my Keyboard. It's all working fine, unless I want to use the Hotkeys. This Keyboard is, at least Cherry claims this, originaly made to be used under Linux. Besdies recompiling my Kernel to use the Hotkeys you only have to install the Software and thats where it all ends. There are at least 8 or 10 packages claimed to be missing although they are installed. In a newer Version. If I use the debian 3.1 Packet. If I try to build it from the source it stops always on the same topic. xerces-c libraries are missing. But I guess it all comes down to the fact that newer Versions of these packages are Installed then the Software, latest release, from cherry is used to. I was a SuSE-User befor I switched to Kubuntu. And I realy want to go on using it, cause this Debian based System is really something. So If theres anybody out there who maybe had had the same problem but solved, pleaseeeeeeeeeee give me a hint.
