Vodafone Connect Card

First of all, good day everybody! This is my first post, and I'd like to greet all the Kubuntu Forums enjoying club! My name is Francesco, I'm from Milan - Italy.

I encountered some troubles by managing my Vodafone Connect Card under Kubuntu 6.06 Dapper Drake.
The CardBus is recognized in /var/log/messages: but how can I configure this CardBus as a modem for Internet connection?
Does anybody encounter the same problem of mine?

I just learned how to use a USB to Serial adapter here:

Not sure if you are using pcmcia or USB. If pcmcia, I'd google the topic and see if there is a device to use like there was for the USB adapter I use.
