    Printer Font

When I print out any text, whether it be from a text file or an e-mail message, the printer font is far too large. The only way I have been able to adjust this is to reduce the screen font to an unacceptably small size. How can I adjust the size of the printer font?

Thanks in advance for all replies.

I would check the printer configuration.

      Re: Printer Font

I've thoroughly checked the printer settings under the Printer module of the KDE control center. All is in order. In addition to Kubuntu, I have Fedora Core 5 on my computer and am not having the same problem with Fedora. Must be some other setting in Kubuntu.

Check the "Fit to Page" setting under "Printer>Configuration"

Sorry to seem dense, but where do I find that setting?

K>"System Settings">Printers. Click on the name of your printer, then click printer on the menu bar and configure from the drop down menu, and expand "installed options". That's where I find "Fit to Page" with my Laserjet. If you're not using a postscript printer, it may not be there.
