Can't detect Audigy 2 soundcard

Dear all,

I'm a newbie with KUBUNTU 6.06. I can't detect the soundcard Audigy 2. I tried all configurations in system settings, sound and multimedia. Not a single sound.

Please advise?

Try ALL the suggestions on this HowTo. At the very least, you'll learn some stuff, and at best, you'll get your sound back.
