S-video Support for S3 savage4

I am somewhat new to the ubuntu series and I need some help on pushing the display through the TV. I have already tried restarting the computer with it pluged in and nothing or no option in system settings to switch to it. Is there something I am missing?
I know that it works in XP.
No it does not support dual display.
Just wanting to watch xvids!
Is there a patch I need and if so could someone explain on how to install it?

Specs:
Kubuntu
1024X768
S3 Savage4
Compaq Presario 700

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, this is my only step away from having the perfect linux laptop! Thanks

There is a program called s3switch, I think it's in the universe repo somewhere, but you can get the original source from http://packages.qa.debian.org/s/s3switch.html if you can't find it.

Thanks for the reply, just another question...

How do you install it?
Do I just run a search for s3switch and install, or is there more to it than that?
