I am not a newbie to Linux and I already checked whether the appropriate modules and services are started.
I use different devices using SD-Cards as memory. I have a SD-Card to PCMCIA / CardBus adapter which worked fine with Breezy Badger (my SD-Cards were recognized and mounted). Since I upgraded to Dapper Drake there is no way to get access to these cards. Searching the forums for this topic I only found problems being reported with WiFi Cards and DVB-T tuners in PC-Card slots but it seems to me that this is a major PC-Card Problem.
Currently there is a workaround because all of my devices also have a USB connector but this is much slower for data transfer and also drains the batteries of the devices.
Any help is appreciated.
